As a woman chiropractor in Duluth, Dr. Danielle represents a growing number of women who are not only practicing healthcare but also leading businesses and creating spaces where families feel welcome.<\/p>\n

Choosing Ownership from the Beginning<\/h2>\n

For Dr. Danielle Berger, opening her own practice was never an afterthought\u2014it was part of the plan from the beginning.<\/p>\n

Opening ChiroWay of Duluth right out of chiropractic school, she embraced the opportunity to step directly into ownership and build something of her own.<\/p>\n

\u201cOpening a ChiroWay location right out of chiropractic school was the best choice I could have made at the time,\u201d she says. \u201cThere is a high demand for the services we offer and the rates we offer them at.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Ownership has always aligned with her mindset and personal philosophy.<\/p>\n

\u201cI always knew I wanted to open my own practice. Responsibility for my ultimate success or failure has always been something I truly own and have never wanted to outsource.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Advice for Women Considering Ownership<\/h2>\n

When asked what she would say to someone who feels capable but hesitant to pursue ownership, Dr. Danielle encourages leaning into the uncertainty.<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cI\u2019d say lean into where you feel hesitant,\u201d she says. \u201cYour brain is wired to keep you safe, so naturally doing anything new and uncertain will feel scary.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

But growth rarely happens inside comfort zones.<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cYou only grow outside of your comfort zone, so lean in.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

<\/h2>\n

Building a Practice That Supports Mothers and Families<\/h2>\n

At ChiroWay of Duluth, Dr. Danielle\u2019s mission extends beyond providing chiropractic care. She strives to create a welcoming space where mothers feel comfortable seeking care for themselves and their children.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy mission is to create a space where moms feel safe seeking care and where their children are welcome,\u201d she says.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

She also hopes to support other mothers in her community by creating opportunities within her business.<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cI strive to hire moms who want to contribute financially to their household while also having time at home with their children,\u201d she explains. \u201cThey deserve a place of employment that fills their cup up and gives them time outside the home for themselves.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Navigating Family Life and Business Ownership<\/h2>\n

Balancing family life with entrepreneurship is something many women business owners understand well. For Dr. Danielle, the concept of \u201cbalance\u201d isn\u2019t always realistic during busy seasons of life.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t think balance is realistic when it comes to raising a family and owning or operating a business,\u201d she says.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Instead, she focuses on intentional planning and protecting her energy.<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cI schedule time to work on my business, not just in it. I plan ahead in both business and household responsibilities, keep a deep bench of babysitters, and make sure I never go too long without planning time for myself.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Supporting Women in Business and Community<\/h2>\n

For Dr. Danielle, the meaning of Women\u2019s History Month extends beyond a single month on the calendar.<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cTo me, it isn\u2019t about a specific month,\u201d she says. \u201cIt\u2019s about creating and nurturing relationships with other female business owners who are providing services and products to our shared community.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

That philosophy reflects a broader mindset of collaboration rather than competition.<\/p>\n

\u201cWomen supporting women, intentionally, all year round.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Life Beyond the Practice<\/h2>\n

When she is not in the office adjusting clients at ChiroWay of Duluth, Dr. Danielle spends much of her time focused on her family and the business she has worked hard to build.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I\u2019m not working in my business adjusting, I\u2019m working on my business or chasing around our three small kids,\u201d she says.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

It\u2019s a life she deeply values.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a life I worked hard for and cherish every moment. I wouldn\u2019t change it for anything.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
